Losing someone you love is one of the most difficult things a family will ever have to do. The Bible gives support ."Throw all your anxiety on Jehovah because he cares for you" (1 Peter 5:7). 2 Corinthians 1:3,4 adds “God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our trials". What a comforting thought. May you find comfort in these scriptures and in Jesus’ promise, at John 5:28,29. My sincere condolences to the family of Rachel Parent.

I knew Rachel when I was an IA at Eastconn. She always had that beautiful smile. My sincere sympathy to Gina and her family.

Robin and I send our sympathy Gina to you and your family at your tremendous loss. I only met Rachel briefly but she clearly had a love of life and the purest of joy. As others have said, she is now an angel in Heaven and will watch over you with love as you watched over her throughout her life. I pray the sweet memories made will sustain you in your moments of grief.

It says: “Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out, those who did good things to a resurrection of life, and those who practiced vile things to a resurrection of judgment.”

There really are no words to take the pain away from you both Gina and Jodi, I will always cherish the times I spent at your house years back with Rachel..... Memories is what will keep rachel alive in all our hearts. I'm so sorry for the pain i love you both

I am sure Rachel is an angel now! While I was just a small part of my niece Rachel's life, I am truly blessed to have had that time with her. I keep her parents and sister Jodi in my prayers.

Rachel was such an amazing person. She touched the lives of many people, and had a talent for bringing us all together. Whether it was our own mismatched family, or just the community to work together. She did it.
