Christian and I are truly sorry for the loss of your father. I just saw the posting in the Darien News obituary listing. Although I didn't know your father well, I am sorry for the sadness your family is enduring from his loss.

Bob- We think of you often as the founder of Kingston Club in 1960 and of Kingston House at UConn in 1961, and as a valued friend. Shirley and I fondly recall the brief times we spent with you and Linda at Ft. Lee and much later, dinners at our home. We wish there had been more times we could have spent together.

It was a pleasure and an honor to know Bob. He was always surprising. His depth of knowledge on the most unrelated topics was amazing, from sports to music, from marketing to magic, short stories, the New Yorker cultural festivals and more. He was proud of his sons. Although he was a very private man, he was a great dinner companion, and I wish we had had more time to know him. We met in aqua therapy, but I was able to draw on his professional knowledge for advice on the Mansfield Downtown. In the short time I knew him, he enriched my life.
