Ellen, I'm sorry I never met you, but Jack--in gentle words--always said how brave your were, and what a wonderful wife you'd been. Chris, Arlene, Dustin, Olivia, and I met at their house, and though Chris and Arlene held back tears, we all reassured the two kids that Grammie was not in pain anymore and she was watching over her family. Dustin wanted to know where you had gone, so we put on brave faces and said "Somewhere up there. Grammie is not in pain anymore, but is happy because her family is so loving and wonderful. Goodbye, Ellen. Love, Dean

I'm so sad to hear of Ellen's passing. She was an incredible friend - always lively, vibrant, cheerful and full of love. I have many fond memories of Ellen and Eileen - and the mischief we got into as kids. She will be missed, but her generous spirit will continue to live. I'm so sorry to all of you, her family. I will keep you all in my heart and prayers.

Ellen was such a kind, lovely person. She was so easy to talk to; no matter how much time passed, we could pick up our conversation with no problem and chat away. She was also such a wonderful sister and friend to all. I'm happy I got the chance to know her.

To the family during such grievous times words seem to be of little comfort. Our Heavenly Father who created us has the desire and the ability to undo the effects of death. In due time all of God's promises will come true. Please read Isaiah 25:8 and Revelation 21:3-5
