Please accept my heartfelt sympathies. My heart goes out to the family. Death is something we will never get use to. In fact, God's Word refers to death as an enemy (1 Corinthians 15:26). Very soon our loving Heavenly Father, Jehovah God, will remove death once and for all and give us the opportunity to see our loved ones again here on the earth.

I'm very sorry for your loss. In the book of Isaiah 33:24  it says "And no resident will say: “I am sick..." What comforting words. Although we may experience illness and grow old right now, soon Jehovah God will bring about a time when sickness will be a distant memory. God promises a new world were he will resurrect those who have fallen asleep in death, to their "youthful vigor." (Job 33:25). May these scriptures bring you and your family comfort.

Hi

My name is Douglas Greenberg. I am the grandson of Adele’s former boyfriend, Alphonse Joly. I just got the news that she passed away. I haven’t seen Adele in many years. But I have fond memories of a trip I took with her and my grandfather to France in 2004. She was jovial, curious about everything and loved talking (in French) to all the people we met in every random city and town that we drove through. Always excited and up for an adventure. That’s how I’ll remember Adele.
