Stan & his family were our next door neighbors on Brown Ave. for many years. I watched his family grow up & he was my math teacher at Windham Tech. I just learned of his passing & my condolences go out to his family. I think of him from time to time & how helpful he was to me struggling with math.

My deepest condolences for your loss, I just found out that he has passed.
Stan was my trig teacher, rifle coach, and mentor at Windham Tech('62-'63)
I had failed trigonometry at Windham High, and went to him and explained that I could not grasp it. One day after classes, he sat down with me and he attempted to explain it to me, and nothing Was sinking in. Then he had the patience, to try another presentation, and another and so on. I am assuming about five or six different explanations. Finally, the light when on, I took his trig class and passed with straight “A’s”
Stan, also inspired me apply and take the admissions test for the new, yet to be named, Thames Valley State Technical Institute, in Norwich, CT., now known as Three Rivers.
Stan was a very important person in my life, and I have and always will remember him fondly.
May he rest in peace.

I would like to offer my deepest condolences to your family. In times like these the Bible have proven to be of great comfort. The Bible book of John chapter 5 verses 28 and 29 holds out the hope of a resurrection for our loved ones; and Joshua chapter 21 verse 45 let’s us know that God fulfills his promises. I hope that these Bible verses will bring your family some comfort. For further comfort please visit jw.org

My heart goes out to all of you and your families. May your hearts soon be filled with wonderful memories of joyful times together as you celebrate a life well lived. I have lived in the Willimantic area for two years now and I have met many folks with fond memories that Mr. Kokoska has impacted there lives from academic to little league but they also shared those memories with there own children as well. Touching so many people and for generations is truly a great accomplishment, I too, have been touched... Certainly a very impressive life and mark for all men to follow. God loves you and he will take care of you RIP

Our heartfelt thoughts and prayers to Carolyn and family on the passing of a great inspiration to us all. Spent many days and hours with Stan as he perform miraculous feats such as Stan turning the parking lot a Quercus Ave into a ball field and his ability to construct the Little League Fieldhouse. Stan also started many youth programs. His continuing efforts to assist his homeland, Poland, and starting baseball and softball there. Truly a great dedicated man who we all hold in high esteem. He will be sadly missed.
