David, Dave, The Gooch. I am so, so sorry for your loss. I so adored your beautiful wife! I/We (PKE Class of Fall '77) were so young when we first met you and Robin. I think you two were one of the first fraternity/sorority couples I ever knew. I think then learned I wanted a Sorority partner like you when I grew up!

Please, please take time for youself now and heal up. Embrace family, friends, and the PKE Brotherhood. Because the Brotherhood should always be here for each of us.

Godspeed my forever PKE Brother. Please let me/PKE know if there is anything we can do to support you during this most difficult time.

My Austin home is always open if you need to just get away.

Peace, hugs. Take good care.

Alan

We would like to offer our sincere condolences. May your hearts find comfort in God's Word where it states: "He will swallow up death forever, and the Lord will wipe the tears from all faces." (Isaiah 25:8) May your loved one awaken to a world where there will be peace, no sickness (Isaiah 33:24), and no more troubles (Revelation 21:4) throughout eternity (Psalm 37:29). May your hearts find comfort in the the wonderful hope found in the Bible, your family, friends and good memories at this time. Our deepest sympathy to you.

Dear Dave, Nathan and Adam,

I know its been years since we have seen or spoken to each other, but I want you to know that I value your family, especially Robin, as an important part of my childhood. When I think back to the years of growing up in the same neighborhood and visiting your house on many occasions the first thing I remember is Robin's warm presence. She was so kind and patient and a loving mom. Even after all these years these things stand out to me. Robin was so kind to my sister and I; I will always remember that about her. I am so sorry for your loss. I wish you peace during this difficult time.

Dave, Nate & Adam,
There are no right words when someone as special as Robin leaves this life. But know that she now rests in the arms of Jesus. I am grateful for the times I saw her a few months ago. Her strength was an inspiration to me. She always had a smile inspite of the challenges she faced. Your memories will be a blessing and gift that only she could give you.

My sincere condolences for the loss of Robin. Be assured that the almighty God truly cares for the family!

May you find comfort in the promise that "... there is going to be a resurrection of both the righteous and the unrighteous" (Acts 24:15), and very soon "... no resident will say, 'I am sick'" (Isa. 33:24) because "... death will be no more, neither will mourning nor outcry nor pain be anymore. The former things have passed away.”(Rev. 21:4)

My sister, Pam and Robin became friends when Robin and Dave moved across the street. It was an enduring friendship that shared laughter, tears and great devotion. Robin was that person that you looked for in a crowded room. When she saw you approaching, she made you feel that you were the one she was waiting to see: always with a smile, a big hello and hug. All of us are better to have had Robin have a place in our lives. To Dave and your family, from our family, our hearts ache for your loss.

Robin's smile was ever-present. I worked with her for nearly 10 years and there was never a day that you saw her that she didn't smile. Such a gentle spirit, truly one of the sweetest people I will ever know. Robin made us all a little nicer just by being around us. She will be missed so much at work; I can't imagine the hole in her family. My prayers that God brings you all comfort & strength, and that Robin's memory will ever be a blessing. My deepest sympathies.

My heart is sad tonight at the news of my Aunt Robin's passing. She is my Godmother and was always a joyful, beautiful light. I have the framed lyrics to "Forever Young" that she gave me on the wall in my office. I am sending love to you, Aunt Robin, and my deepest condolences and hugs to Dave, Nate, and Adam. I know it has been a long time since we've seen each other, and I'm so sorry for your loss. May Robin be free and may her light shine on all of us.

Your family has my deepest sympathy. I’m so very sorry to learn of the loss of Ms. Robin, someone so beloved. I was thinking of something to say to ease the pain that your family is suffering. So I compiled this list of Scriptures that is sure to bring you comfort in this difficult time: Psalms 55:22; Proverbs 3:5, 6; Isaiah 41:10; 2 Corinthians 1: 3-7; James 4:8; and Revelation 21:4. Be strong. Cherish the memories. May the peace of God be with your family always. And please remember to call upon His name found at Psalms 83:18.
