That was most definitely a beautiful tribute. Due to the vast age difference between my siblings and me, I didn't really get to know Mae until our later years, but I am very glad that I got to know her spiritual depth and loving, caring, and generous spirit. She gave me a most beautiful cross necklace with a diamond chip simply for attending WW with her!! We later attended the church where the WW's meetings were held and at 80 yo she eagerly donated her time, money, and energy to serve the less fortunate. I will continue to miss her. Rest in Peace Mae.

I remember so many of those rainy Memorial Day picnics- lots of books.

I also remember delivering a three tier cake my mother made. As my father walked into the kitchen with an imposter assembly of pans under a towel he pretended to trip and the “cake” went flying. Mae had some very choice words before bursting out in laughter.

May memories of Mae comfort everyone during this difficult time. Hugs to the entire family.
