Joyce Anne Decyk

Joyce Anne Decyk 59, of Willimantic passed away Thursday, February 15, 2018. She was born in Stamford, CT to the late Leo Sennick and Grace Solloway. Joyce attended Rippowam High School in Stamford, CT but Graduated from Ridgefield High School in Ridgefield. After high school she studied at Lemuel Shattuck School of Nursing and worked for nearly 20 years as an LPN at St. Joseph Living Center in Windham. Joyce was a Member of the First Church of Christ in Mansfield.

Aside from her parents, Joyce is predeceased by her husband, Bill.  She is survived by her daughter, Ashley Logan; Son, Leo Logan; stepson, Ted Decyk and wife Mary; sister, Ellen Shirshac and her husband Randy; brothers, Robert Sennick, Paul Sennick and Susan Pember; sisters in law, Doris Decyk, Annie Hope; many nieces and nephews and her furry baby, Ringo.

Family will receive relatives and friends Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 2pm to 4pm at Potter Funeral Home 456 (Rte. 195) Jackson St. Willimantic, CT. A Memorial Service will be Thursday, February 22, 2018 at the First Church of Christ 549 Storrs Rd. Mansfield Center, CT at 11am. The Committal Service will be Friday, February 23, 2018 at the State Veterans Cemetery, 317 Bow Ln Middletown, CT at 12pm.
