Gertrude Dorothy (Mitchell) Lewis, 88, passed away on Thursday June 22, 2017 peacefully at home in North Windham, CT. She was born June 13, 1929, the daughter of the late Ralph and Dorothy (Murch)Mitchell of Bristol, CT. She is survived by her daughters, Sandra Golab and Deborah Krause; five brothers, Donald Mitchell, Ralph Mitchell, Raymond Mitchell, Albert Mitchell and Thomas Mitchell; two grandchildren, Christopher Brown and Jessica Golab; eight great grandchildren, Brady Krause, Caitlyn Krause, Tristian Krause, Christopher Xzavier Brown, Carolyn Compton-Allbright, Thomas Compton-Allbright, Jefferson Compton-Allbright and Kaylie Macha; several nieces and nephew. Gertrude was predeceased by her husband Norman Lewis, a sister Doris and a brother Butch and a grandson Alexander Krause. There are no calling hours or services.
